Direct the shot like you’d direct a photographer

When a shot is almost right, you don’t want to start over — you want to nudge it. The Art-Director Edit lets you do exactly that: take a finished shot and change it with a plain-English instruction.

“Make the lighting warmer.” “Remove the clutter on the left.” “Tighten the crop on the product.” You write the note; Vermeer renders the edited version.

Your original is never lost

An edit creates a new version alongside the original, not a replacement. The shot you started with stays exactly as it was, and the edited version sits next to it. You can keep editing, compare, and choose whichever you prefer — nothing you’ve already rendered is overwritten.

Works on finished shots

The Art-Director Edit operates on shots that have already been rendered. Render a shot, see what you got, then direct it the rest of the way with a sentence. It’s the fast path from “close” to “exactly right” without re-running a whole shoot.

Tips

• Make one change per edit. Small, specific instructions land more reliably than a paragraph of changes.
• If an edit doesn’t go the way you wanted, your original is still right there — edit that again with a different note.
